Newcastle to send Gosling out on loan

DONCASTER HAVE BEEN PUT ON ALERT BY NEWCASTLE'S DECISION TO SEND DAN GOSLING OUT ON LOAN.

Midfielder Gosling has struggled to break into the Magpies high-flying team since returning from a long term knee injury.

And boss Alan Pardew is keen for him to go on loan to a Championship club to gain some match action.

Doncaster's new boss Dean Saunders is hunting Premier League talent to fire his club up the table.

He has already snapped up West Ham's Herita Ilunga on loan after signing former Spurs man Pascal Chimbonda on a free transfer.

Gosling, 21, was rated as one of the country's top young talents when Everton snapped him up from Plymouth and handed him 22 outings as a teenager.

But he made a controversial move to Newcastle in July 2010 following a row over a contract extension.

And his time at St James' Park has been blighted by the knee injury that has required surgery.
