Bolton players hold crisis meeting

Bolton's struggling players are holding a crisis meeting this week to try and sort out their shocking form.

Owen Coyle's men have won just one of their past eight Premier League games, leaving them rooted in the bottom three.

And the Trotters senior players have decided to act with England defender Gary Cahill revealing plans aimed at getting the season back on track.

He said: ``We need to stick together and in-house we will speak about what we need to do to move forward.

``A lot of work will be put in on the training ground because we need and want to get things moving in the right direction.

``We want to turn it around for the fans and for the manager and we need to do it as soon as possible, starting with Stoke next weekend where we will be going all out to get a good result.

``Results are all that matter at the minute. In the last few games we haven't got them and we need to turn the corner as soon as possible."
