Chelsea Try To Off-Load Bosingwa to PSG

Chelsea are trying to sell contract rebel Jose Bosingwa to money-bags French side Paris St Germain.

The Blues defender is out of contract in the summer and Chelsea want to cash in rather than letting him walk for free in May.

They paid £16.3m for the 29-year-old in May 2008 and when fit, Bosingwa has been one of the Premier League's top raiding right-backs.

But he spent a chunk of time on the sidelines because of a knee injury that ruled him out of the 2010 World Cup.

The Portugal international has been a regular in André Villas-Boas line-up.

His refusal to sign a new deal has forced Chelsea's hand though and they are hoping PSG will take him for a small fee.

The French side are now managed by former Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti, who is currently attempting to complete a deal for Chelsea stopper Alex.
