BLACKPOOL'S `lucky charm' Stephen Dobbie is eyeing an incredible hat-trick of promotions.

The Scottish striker joined the Seasiders two years ago on loan and helped them win a spot in the Premier League through a Wembley play-off.

He returned to Swansea and remarkably repeated the feat the following season with Brendan Rodgers' side.

Now he is preparing for a third trip to Wembley having rejoined Blackpool on loan with orders to fire them back to the top flight.

The Scot is on course, having scored six goals in seven starts for the Seasiders, and is geared up for Saturday's clash with West Ham.

And Dobbie said: ``I guess I could be a lucky charm when it comes to this stage of the season.

``I'm not generally lucky in life. I don't do well on the lottery and I don't even get any luck on the golf course.

``But when it comes to football, I seem to have struck lucky recently. Most players don't get to play at Wembley. I've been there two years in a row and won both times. Not many people can say that.

``Now the aim is to do it three times. Can we do it? I like to think so, we have some good players here with a good mix.

``A lot of them were here last time as well, and so is the manager and that is an advantage in the final weeks of the season.''

Dobbie, 29, has packed plenty into the last three years of his career having bounced around the lower Scottish leagues for four seasons.

His life turned around when he lured to Swansea in 2009.

He added: ``The secret to my success has been to work really hard. When I moved south from Scotland I got my head down and worked that little bit harder.

``And that led to some good times, firstly with Blackpool and the defeat of Cardiff in the play-off final then with Swansea.''
