Abdoulaye Meite Aims For Ipswich Deal

Abdoulaye MeiteFormer Bolton defender Abdoulaye Meite is trying to win a deal at Ipswich.

The free agent, 31, is training with Paul Jewell’s Tractor Boys this week.

Ivory Coast international Meite is hunting a new club having left Dijon in the summer.

He made 56 Premier League appearances for the Trotters from July 2006 to August 2008 before heading to West Brom in a £2m deal.

Meite went on to play 56 games for the Baggies and then quit for Dijon in June 2011.
