Fulham Ready To Swoop On Plymouth For Teenage Keeper

Christian WaltonFulham are lining up a £300,000 raid on Plymouth for teenage keeping sensation Christian Walton.

The youth team keeper has got Premier League scouts flocking to the League Two outfit to check on the big shot-stopper.

But Cottagers boss Martin Jol is ready to table an offer to secure a deal for the 18-year-old before his rivals can snap him up.

Fulham's number one Mark Schwarzer is now 40 years old and although the impressive David Stockdale is on the club's books, Jol is concerned about a lack of keeping talent coming through the ranks.
