Alex Ferguson: I worry about Chris Hughton's Norwich

Alex Ferguson fears Chris Hughton is finally finding his feet at Norwich - just in time to stun Manchester United.

The Canaries chief oversaw a shock defeat of Arsenal in late October that kick-started a run of form that has got Fergie worried.

Norwich had taken just three points from their opening seven games but are unbeaten in four Premier League matches since seeing off the Gunners.

And Ferguson reckons the 1-0 victory was the turning point in Hughton's bid to install his ethos on his team.

Now he is anxious about taking his team to Carrow Road on Saturday.

He said: "I've got a lot of respect for Chris Hughton.

"I think he did a fantastic job at Birmingham and Newcastle and with that performance against Arsenal, you think they've maybe turned the corner in terms of Chris' introduction there as a manager.

"It's always the same when a manager goes to a new club. There's different way of training, different ideas about players, and maybe Chris is getting it together now.

"I hope not when it comes to our game, mind you. But that performance against Arsenal was very good."

United pulled off a sensational late win at Carrow Road back in February with Ryan Giggs scoring in the final minute.

It was a sweet victory that suggested the Reds were marching to another Premier League title - before City stole their thunder on the final day.
