David Moyes Needs FA Cup Win To Step Out of Alex Ferguson's Shadow - Says Rafael Da Silva

rafael_da_silvaRafael Da Silva reckons David Moyes can step out of SirAlex Ferguson's shadow by guiding Manchester United to the FA Cup for the first time in a decade.

Moyes faces a tough task in taking over from Ferguson and needs to make his mark at Old Trafford in his debut season.

And full-back Rafael reckons lifting the FA Cup for the first time since 2004 would be the perfect way for the former Everton boss to win over fans.

The greedy defender, who missed out on the Brazil squad for the Confederations Cup, will head back to England next month looking to land a famous quartet of trophies.

But he is especially keen to add an FA Cup winners medal to his personal trophy haul of three Premier League titles and one Capital One Cup victory.

He said: "Once we arrive back for pre-season the focus will be on winning the league again and the Champions League, FA Cup and Capital One Cup.

"It has been a long time since we won the FA Cup, so we should be really focused to win the trophy again."

Manchester United last won the FA Cup in 2004 when Ruud van Nistelrooy scored twice in a 3-0 defeat of Millwall. Cristiano Ronaldo scored the other goal.
