Spurs' Bongani Khumalo Wanted On Loan By Doncaster

Tottenham defender Bongani Khumalo is a loan target for Paul Dickov's Doncaster.

Spurs paid  Supersport United £1.7m for Khumalo shortly after the 2010 World Cup but he is yet to play for the London club.

He spent last season on loan at Greek club PAOK having had previous short-term stints at Preston and Reading.

He will play for Doncaster against Bradford today with Rovers keen to take him for the campaign.

Dickov has been boosted by the news Paul Quinn has signed a two-year deal.

But he is struggling to bring in Aston Villa keeper Shay Given on loan with talks held up by a failure to agree how much Rovers will contribute to the Irish international's wages.
